65. Conference of Austrian foundries
Conference focused on digitalization, decarbonization and transformation of the foundry industry.
On April 27, 2023, we attended the 65th Austrian Foundry Conference (65. Österreichische Gießereitagung) in Schladming, which was organized by the "Austrian Foundry Institute". The conference focused, among other things, on the digitalisation of all production processes in foundries and the decarbonisation and transformation of the foundry industry. Research projects on the challenges faced by foundries, including the economic hardships of the industry, are presented, covering topics such as climate neutrality, digitalization, the shift towards e-mobility and the impact of energy prices on production.
